- Isaiah 6:2–3: “Above him were seraphim… and they were calling to one another: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty.’”

2.Nature of Angels

- Created Beings: Angels are not eternal; they were created by God before humanity.

- Psalm 148:2,5: “Praise him, all his angels… Let them praise the name of the Lord, for he commanded and they were created.”

- Spiritual Beings: They are not flesh and blood but spiritual, though they can appear in human form.

- Hebrews 1:14: “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?”

3.Roles of Angels

- Luke 1:26–28: Gabriel announces to Mary that she will bear Jesus.

- Worshippers of God: Angels continually glorify God in heaven.

- Revelation 5:11–12: “Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels… In a loud voice they were saying: ‘Worthy is the Lamb…’”

- Protectors and Guides: They guard God’s people and sometimes give direction.

- Psalm 91:11: “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”

- Warriors in Spiritual Battle: Angels fight against demonic forces.

- Revelation 12:7: “Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon…”

4.Angels and Humanity

- Ministering to Believers: They serve those who belong to Christ.

- Hebrews 1:14: Angels are “sent to serve those who will inherit salvation.”

- Witnesses of God’s Work: They rejoice when sinners repent.

- Luke 15:10: “There is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

- Not to Be Worshipped: Angels themselves forbid worship directed at them.

- Revelation 22:8–9: When John bows to an angel, the angel says, “Do not do it! I am a fellow servant…”

Practical Implications

- Angels remind us of God’s nearness and care—He sends help even in unseen ways.

- They point us to worship God alone, never themselves.

- They highlight the reality of spiritual warfare, urging us to stay alert and prayerful.

- They model obedience and readiness, serving God instantly without hesitation.
