Lessons (12years Story of the Bleeding Woman)
Note:- In that crowd so many people where their but even though her touch was very different that real stopped Jesus Christ
Luke8:46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.
YOUR FAITH CAN OPEN DOOR FOR GOD'S POWER
Note:- Jesus immediately responds to the woman who touched His clothing and was healed. People were pushing and pressing into Him from all over, yet He stops, turns, and asks, “Who touched my clothes?” (Mark 5:30). The disciples were incredulous, but Jesus knew that healing power had gone out of Him. We can’t “steal” a miracle from God. After the woman comes forward and explains herself, Jesus clears up any misconceptions about her healing, saying, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering” (Mark 5:34). God is moved to action by our faith, even when He’s in the middle of doing something else!
Note:- Beacuse of her repentance Jesus responded ("Your repentance brings response from God")
Life of a Faith Warrior
-Courage in Trials
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid… for the Lord your God goes with you.” — Deuteronomy 31:6
Faith warriors face challenges boldly, knowing God is present.
-Perseverance in Weakness
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9
Weakness becomes strength when surrendered to God.
1.The world has hated the women but Jesus Christ has loved the women
Note:- When world hates you don't Heaven is loving you that is so precious
Note:- In this women we can see three precious fruits
1.Self-control
2.In hard times also her wait will be never faded away
Luke8:48 Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.
The world has hated the women but Jesus has loved the women
Persistence in desperation:-Don’t give up—God works when human effort fails
Personal encounter:-Healing is holistic: body, soul, and identity
Breaking isolation:-Faith restores relationships and community
Persistence in Desperation
-Verse: “She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse.” (Mark 5:26)
-Lesson: Her persistence shows that when human solutions fail, turning to Jesus is the ultimate answer. Her desperation became the doorway to divine intervention.
2.She waited all these days only for the one reason son of God should be glorified
HER FAITH HAS STOPPED DEATH IN HER LIFE
FAITH:- She had used so many medicines and went to many hospitals nothing was happened but she was not depreesed still her FAITH REMAINS SAME UPON GOD THAT IS VERY POWERFULL
Why She Waited All Those Days
-Human limitation: Despite her efforts, no earthly solution could cure her. Her waiting highlights the futility of human strength apart from God.
-Divine timing: Scripture often shows that God allows waiting so that His glory is revealed at the right moment. Her long suffering set the stage for a dramatic testimony.
-Faith tested and refined: Twelve years of pain did not extinguish her hope. Her persistence in believing that Jesus could heal her magnified the power of faith.
The Reason the Son of God Was Glorified
-Healing beyond human reach: Her condition was considered incurable. When Jesus healed her instantly, it proved His divine authority.
-Public testimony: Jesus didn’t let her slip away unnoticed. He asked, “Who touched me?” so that her healing would be declared openly, glorifying God before the crowd.
-Restoration of dignity: Beyond physical healing, she was restored socially and spiritually. Her testimony glorified Christ as the one who not only heals but restores identity and hope.
The Deeper Lesson
Her waiting wasn’t wasted—it became the backdrop for God’s glory. The delay magnified the miracle. It reminds us that sometimes God allows prolonged struggles so that when breakthrough comes, it is unmistakably His work, not ours.
Note:-
What we know about the woman is, first, she had a bleeding condition, and the issue had continued for twelve years. That’s a very long time. Second, she had spent all her money on treatments from many doctors, and nothing had helped; in fact, the blood issue had only grown worse (see Mark 5:25–26). We also know that Jewish Law declared her to be ceremonially unclean due to her bleeding issue (Leviticus 15:25-27). This meant that she would not have been permitted to enter the temple for Jewish religious ceremonies. According to the Law, anything or anyone she touched became unclean as well. The fact that she was in the crowd pressing around Jesus means that each person who bumped into her would have become unclean, too—including Jesus. But, after twelve years of suffering, she was obviously desperate for a miracle. “When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, ‘If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed’” (Mark 5:27–28).
3.Her pain has become a purpose(TESTIMONY TO THE WORLD)
Note:- In her life Journey started with pain and ended with GREAT TESTIMONY
Note:- God can change Bondage into Blessings
Note:- Luke 8:47
Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed.
Note:- She boldly testified about Jesus Christ infront of all that turned into Testimony to the world
Note:- When she received healing , She worshipped God wholeheartdly (fell at his feet)
Testimony of Courage
-Verse: “Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed.” (Luke 8:47)
-Lesson: Sharing her testimony publicly turned her private pain into a witness of God’s power. Our healing becomes a testimony that strengthens others’ faith.
Final points:-
1.She has very strong faith that's why she was waiting ,God will heal her but surprise is God only came to that place to heal her
2.She was weak in body but through her faith in spirit was very strong
3.Finally through faith she has won the victory.
