LIFE STORY
Testimony
Note:- Most of the big pastors for mega churches they are excel in all the things and gifts but they failed to protect their TESTIMONY
1.personal life character
Main Point - It is a sign of Born again and transformed & Separated life from world
How is your character in front of god ?
How is your character in yourself ?
How is your character in front of your family?
Note:- Our Salvation is a testimony of god to this world
2.Public life character (Matthew 10:32)
Luke 8:39
"Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him."
This is Jesus speaking to the man who had been delivered from a legion of demons. Instead of allowing him to follow physically, Jesus commissions him to witness locally.
1.Testimony Begins at Home
Jesus says, “Return to thine own house…”
Transformation must first be lived out in the closest circle—family, friends, community.
Supporting Verse: “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea…” (Acts 1:8).
-Application: True discipleship starts with those who know us best. Our changed life is the loudest sermon.
2.Testimony is About God’s Work, Not Ours
“…shew how great things God hath done unto thee.”
The focus is on God’s action, not human effort.
Supporting Verse: “Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory…” (Psalm 115:1).
-Application: Sharing testimony is not self-promotion but God-promotion.
3.Testimony Leads to Evangelism
“…he went his way, and published throughout the whole city…”
His obedience turned into proclamation.
Supporting Verse: “Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee…” (Mark 5:19 – parallel passage).
-Application: Personal testimony is one of the most effective forms of evangelism—it’s undeniable evidence of God’s power.
4.Transformation is Visible
The man who was once feared became a messenger of hope.
-Supporting Verse: “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
-Application: A changed life validates the message. People see the difference and glorify God.
Because sometimes we preach Gospel not only through our mouth but also through our lifestyle
Note :- one of the servant of god told that non believers don't read Bible but they read your lifestyle
Testimony is called a light it will show light who are in darkness
When you walk in Jesus that you're walking in light in that you will be shine by your testimony
Jesus replied, “My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going.
Note:- if you die also your testimony speaks
Imp Note:- To preach gospel also our testimony is a great weapon.
3.Spirthual life character
Main point - Intimacy with god really matters
Note:- Finally where you can't travel but your testimony can travel reaches to all nations.
The Legacy of Graham Staines
Graham Staines was killed, but he lives on and the work for which he gave his life continues to this day. The Mayurbhanj evangelical mission now runs a hospital in his name focused on treating leprosy patients. At Rajabasa, 10km from Baripada, a group of children — mostly orphans — has been housed at a residential school which was set up in 2003. The school is named after the two Staines boys.
For years after their deaths, even though I never knew them, Staines and his family has continued to challenge me and many others. Their lives and their deaths have been like unspoken words echoing through the corridors of eternity. Life is temporal and with what we have been given, we use it for making this world a better place and we know that this task is God given and it is not in vain, it can never be snuffed out.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.
Note:-The gospel of John 1:15
Note :-2Corinthians 5:10 according to our testimony our judgement will be decided
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
