HOLY BIBLE

BIBLE

Note:- All Scripture is breathed out by God

Note:- God will washes his people with two Precious things

1.Jesus Christ Blood (Washed)

2.Word of God (Washing daily)

Note:- BIBLE IS NOT ABOUT INFORMATION BUT IT IS FOR TRANSFORMATION IN LIVES

Part 1

Saint Jerome for the Latin Vulgate (c. 400 AD), John Wycliffe for the first complete English Bible (c. 1382), William Tyndale for the first direct English translation from Greek and Hebrew (16th century), and the 54 scholars who created the King James Version (1611).

Note:- The Bible isn't just one book.

It's 66 books, written by over 40 different people, in 3 languages, across 1,500 years.

Composition & Languages

The Bible was originally written in three languages

Hebrew & Aramaic: The primary languages of the Old Testament.

koine Greek: The language of the New Testament and the Septuagint (Greek Old Testament)

And somehow, it all tells one continuous story: God's plan to save humanity through Jesus Christ.

Shepherds, kings, prophets, fishermen people who never met — all pointing the same message.

That's not coincidence. That's God's Hand

Note:- People love to say,

Note:- The Bible's been rewritten a thousand times."

Wrong!

We have over 25,000 manuscripts of the New Testament. When scholars compare them to each other and to modern Bibles, the message matches. No core doctrine has ever changed.

The Dead Sea Scrolls - Old Testament copies written before Jesus was born — match whask we read today almost word for word.

Note:- The Bible hasn't been corrupted.

It's been preserved.

Note:- The Bible isn't just "religion." It's rooted

real history.

*   The walls of Jericho — collapsed just like
Joshua 6 describes.

*   The Tel Dan inscription — proving King David was a real historical figure.

*   A stone in Caesarea — naming Pontius Pilate, the same Roman governor who sentenced Jesus.

Note:- Over and over, archaeology backs up the details written in Scripture.

For 2,000 years, people have tried to tear tne

Bible apart.

Roman emperors burned it.

Philosophers mocked it.

Skeptics and scholars called it a myth.

And yet every time, new evidence ends up confirming it.

The Bible has outlasted every attack.

So when someone asks you, "How do you know the Bible is true?"

you can answer with confidence:

*   It's one unified story across thousands of years.

*   It's the most preserved ancient book in history.

*   It's confirmed again and again by archaeology and history.

Note:- The Bible hasn't been lost. It hasn't been 338 changed. And no other book in history stands this strong.

Part 2

Willan to dell Testimony

Stephen Langton was a renowned 13th-century English scholar, theologian, and churchman. Here are some notable quotes attributed to him

On Church Authority*: "The Church, founded by Christ, is a divine institution, entrusted with the power to teach, to sanctify, and to govern. It is by the authority of the Church that the faithful are brought to salvation, for she alone holds the fullness of truth and grace."

- *On Sacraments*: "The sacraments are the means by which the faithful are made partakers of the divine life. Through baptism, one is cleansed from original sin; through the Eucharist, one is nourished with the Body and Blood of Christ; and through penance, one is reconciled with God. These sacraments are necessary for salvation."

- *On Purgatory*: "It is the teaching of the Church that those who depart this life in a state of grace, yet not wholly purified, must undergo a purification in purgatory before they can enter the kingdom of heaven."

- *On Church Unity*: "The unity of the Church is indivisible, for she is the body of Christ, and just as Christ is one, so must His Church be one. This unity is maintained through the teaching authority of the bishops in communion with the pope, who safeguard the integrity of the faith."

- *From Veni Sancte Spiritus (Come, Holy Spirit)*:

    - "Come, Holy Spirit, Lord of Light, From the clear celestial height."

    - "Heal our wounds, our strength renew; On our dryness pour thy dew, Wash the stains of guilt away."

    - "Give us comfort when we die; Give us life with thee on high; Give us joys that never end."

Langton's writings primarily focused on scriptural interpretation, ecclesiastical law, and the relationship between the Church and secular authority. He played a significant role in shaping the chapter divisions of the Bible still used today

Part 3

1.Medicine of Life

The Word as Healing Medicine

-Proverbs 4:20–22

“My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body.”

-God’s Word is not just spiritual wisdom—it brings holistic healing. Just as medicine restores the body, Scripture restores the soul, mind, and even physical well-being through peace and hope.

2.Fleshly Diseases in life

The Cure According to Scripture

a) Confession and Cleansing

- Verse: 1 John 1:9 – “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

- Explanation: Healing begins with acknowledging the disease of sin and turning to God for forgiveness.

b) Renewal by the Spirit

- Verse: Galatians 5:16 – “Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”

- Explanation: The Spirit is the divine medicine that strengthens us against fleshly weakness. Daily prayer and surrender invite His power.

c) Transformation of the Mind

- Verse: Romans 12:2 – “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.”

- Explanation: The cure involves replacing old thought patterns with God’s truth. Scripture meditation is like spiritual therapy.

d)Discipline and Self-Denial

- Verse: 1 Corinthians 9:27 – “I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.”

- Explanation: Just as physical disease requires discipline (diet, medicine), spiritual disease requires self-control and obedience.

e) Hope in Christ’s Healing

- Verse: Isaiah 53:5 – “By His stripes we are healed.”

- Explanation: The ultimate cure is Christ’s sacrifice, which heals both body and soul, promising restoration in this life and eternity.
