NO GOSSIPS ONLY GOSPEL

GOSSIPS

Note:- YOU HAVE SO MUCH TIME TO SHARE GOSPEL TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW JESUS CHRIST (PERSONAL SALVATION EXPERIENCE)

Note:- Share your testimony and have spiritual talks through mobiles or oral talks

Note:-  Gossips can spoil the relatioships

Note:- Gossips can make you faraway to spiritual talks

Note:- Gossips are the roots of backbiting

1.Root of Backbiting: It stems from pride, envy, or insecurity. By tearing others down in secret, we attempt to elevate ourselves. Scripture consistently frames this as sin against both neighbor and God.

2.Spiritual Consequences: Backbiting doesn’t just harm relationships—it grieves the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:29–30). Words can either build the body of Christ or corrode it.

3.Practical Implication: The Bible calls believers to replace backbiting with encouragement (Hebrews 3:13). Speech should be a channel of grace, not poison.

Note:-
- Self-Examination: Before speaking, ask: Does this build up or tear down?

- Guarding Conversations: Refuse to participate in gossip circles. Silence can be a powerful witness.
- Restoration: If guilty of backbiting, confess to God and, if possible, to the person wronged. Healing begins with humility.

- Positive Speech Discipline: Practice blessing others in their absence—turning potential gossip into testimony of their strengths.

Backbiting is subtle but spiritually corrosive. The Bible doesn’t treat it lightly—it places it among sins that fracture community and dishonor God. The antidote is intentional speech shaped by love, truth, and encouragement.

- True → Aligns with God’s Word and reality, not deception or illusion.
- Noble (honorable) → Worthy of respect, dignified, not trivial or degrading.
- Right (just) → Morally upright, consistent with God’s justice.
- Pure → Free from corruption, lust, or selfish motives.
- Lovely → That which inspires love and peace, not hatred or division.
- Admirable (good report) → Commendable, uplifting, not scandalous or destructive.
- Excellent & Praiseworthy → Things that reflect virtue and bring glory to God.

Why It Matters
- Thoughts shape actions: What fills the mind eventually flows into speech and behavior.
- Spiritual warfare begins in the mind: Philippians 4:8 is a shield against anxiety, temptation, and despair.
- Christlike transformation: Romans 12:2 says we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. This verse shows how to renew them—by filtering what we dwell on.

Note:- Spiritual Fellowships can make you near to God

Note:- Earth relationships can lead to sinful things

Psalm 1:1-6

1 Blessed is the one

who does not walk in step with the wicked

or stand in the way that sinners take

or sit in the company of mockers,

2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,

and who meditates on his law day and night.

3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,

which yields its fruit in season

and whose leaf does not wither—

    whatever they do prospers.

4 Not so the wicked!

    They are like chaff

    that the wind blows away.

5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,

nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous,

but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

Important points
1.Choosing integrity over popularity

2.Beginning the day with “Your will, not mine”

3.Setting boundaries against harmful influences

4.Journaling sins and praying for cleansing

5.Encouraging words instead of criticism

Warning Against Worldliness

James 4:4-12

4 What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you? 2 You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions. 4 You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5 Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us”? 6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.

11 Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. 12 There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?
