SOWING

1.Seed in God's Kingdom

Matthew 13:31–32

The Kingdom starts small—like a mustard seed—but grows into something vast, sheltering many. This shows how even a tiny act of faith or obedience can expand into a movement that blesses others.

1.God’s work often begins unnoticed but becomes undeniable

2.Don’t despise small beginnings—God’s Spirit multiplies them

3.The gospel is for all people, offering safety and belonging

4.Even a small, sincere faith can grow into life-changing strength

- God values the hidden and humble. What looks insignificant can become world-changing.
- Growth is inevitable when God plants. The kingdom doesn’t remain small—it expands.
- The kingdom is welcoming. It provides shelter, hope, and community for all who come.
- Faith mirrors the kingdom. Even the smallest seed of trust in God can grow into a flourishing testimony.

2.Seed in Personal life

1 Peter 1:23

Born again of imperishable seed

The Word of God is described as an imperishable seed that brings new birth. Unlike earthly seeds, this one guarantees eternal life and transformation.

- “Born again” (Greek: anagennaō)
This points to spiritual regeneration—a new life given by God. It’s not about moral improvement or external rituals, but a radical transformation of the inner person.

- Contrast with physical birth
Our first birth comes from “corruptible seed” (human reproduction, subject to decay and death). The second birth comes from “incorruptible seed”—a divine source that cannot perish.
The Seed Imagery

- Corruptible seed
Refers to human life that is temporary, fragile, and mortal. Everything born of flesh eventually dies.

- Incorruptible seed
Symbolizes the eternal, divine origin of spiritual life. This seed is the Word of God, which is imperishable and enduring.
This agricultural metaphor emphasizes that just as seeds produce life, God’s Word produces eternal life in believers.

1.Depend on Scripture for renewal, not self-effort

2.Live with hope beyond death

3.Prioritize Scripture in teaching, family, and personal growth

4.Walk with confidence as citizens of heaven.

3.Seed in World

John 12:24

Jesus compares His death to a seed falling into the ground—dying to produce much fruit. This reveals that surrender and sacrifice are the pathway to multiplication in God’s Kingdom.

1.Trust in the cross as the source of life

2.Daily surrender leads to fruitfulness

3.Loss in Christ leads to eternal gain

4.Reframes expectations of power and victory
