GOD'S EYE
1. Fearing God is not about body expression but Actions in lifestyle
Fear of God as Lifestyle
1. Fear of God = Obedience
Verse: “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13)
Fear of God is not about posture—it is about obeying His Word daily. Reverence is proven in action, not in appearance.
2. Fear of God = Turning Away from Evil
Verse: “By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil.” (Proverbs 16:6)
Fear is seen in lifestyle choices—rejecting sin, walking in holiness, and refusing compromise. It is a moral compass guiding daily living.
3.Fear of God = Walking Uprightly
Verse: “Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.” (Psalm 128:1)
Fear of God is expressed in the way you walk—your conduct, relationships, and decisions. It is a lifestyle of alignment with His ways.
4. Fear of God = Wisdom in Action
Verse: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” (Proverbs 9:10)
Wisdom is not intellectual alone—it is practical. Fear of God means applying His truth in choices, showing reverence through disciplined living.
5. Fear of God = Serving with Integrity
Verse: “Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.” (Psalm 2:11)
Service to God is not ritualistic—it is lifestyle integrity. Fear of God means serving Him faithfully, with joy and reverence.
2.Fear means Giving first priority for God's work in all situations
Fear of God = Priority for His Work
1. Seek God First
Verse: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33)
Fear of God means that in every decision—career, family, finances—you put His kingdom first. It is not about fitting God into your schedule, but shaping your schedule around Him.
2. Obedience Above All
Verse: “We ought to obey God rather than men.” (Acts 5:29)
Fear of God prioritizes His commands even when human authority or social pressure conflicts. It is a lifestyle of saying, “God’s Word comes first.”
3.Work for Eternal Reward
Verse: “Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life…” (John 6:27)
Fear of God shifts your focus from temporary gain to eternal reward. You prioritize His work because it produces fruit that lasts beyond this life.
4. Sacrifice for God’s Mission
Verse: “Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” (Romans 12:1)
Fear of God means surrendering comfort, ambition, and even personal plans to serve His mission. It is giving Him the first and best portion of your life.
5. Faithful Stewardship
Verse: “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” (1 Corinthians 4:2)
Fear of God means treating every resource—time, talent, money—as belonging to Him. Prioritizing His work is faithful stewardship of what He entrusted to you.
3.Fearing God Means doing what God said
Fear and Commandments
Verse: “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13)
The essence of fearing God is obeying His commands. It is not optional—it is the very purpose of human life.
Fear = Doing, Not Just Hearing
Verse: “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” (James 1:22)
Fear of God means we don’t just listen to sermons or read Scripture—we act on it. Obedience is the proof of reverence.
